Your BRAT Club website is evolving - with many thanks to our website guru Steve Mustard!  There is a new "my results" section under members profile (mainly for the triathletes: the closest equivalent to the Athletics "Power of 10" website for triathlete is http://www.athlinks.com).  The layout of the members only section has been improved with more accessible link buttons.  The BRAT Chat forum in the members section now opens straight into the list of recent additions.  The sponsors section is being updated too.  There are updated articles on group cycling etiquette (cycling section), safeguarding (welfare section) and the form to fill out if you have an accident while training in a BRAT Club training session.  Following the AGM, keep your eyes peeled for more changes to the training timetables, venues and contacts list (of course).  We would be delighted to consider further changes - please leave your suggestions in the members feedback section of the BRAT Chat forum.

Many BRATs will fondly remember Simon (Si) Pearsall, enthusiastic BRAT, member of BRAToffee Pie at the National Club Relays 2013, family man, Harborne Pool swimmer, Bromsgrove School graduate and Tri-1st fan, who passed away on 9th April 2014. The big man wrote after NCR 2013: "National Tri Club relays without doubt the most chaotic sporting experience of my life. Complete smash fest, loved every minute. Thanks to all". The funeral will be held at 11am Wednesday 23rd April at Lodge Hill Crematorium followed by a get together at the New Inn, Harborne. He is survived by his wife Hannah and two young daughters Sienna Rose and Emelia May. A BRAT through and through.

Hello party people!  In the absence of a formal BRAT Ball for 2014, you are all cordially invited to drinks at the Village Inn, Moseley this coming Saturday (5th April). The BRAT party entourage will be assembling from 7.30pm onwards.

In addition to the obvious joy of spending time comparing training schedules and race plans with your peers over a few low alcohol drinks, you will also be able to offer birthday congratulations to young Julie Washbourne, one of our up and coming multisport athletes.

If you are able to join us and would like to eat, please can you confirm this to Julie by email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) who is organising an area in the pub for us.

The bar serves until 12am but there is a fair chance that the party will continue afterwards at a secret location to be confirmed on the night...

All are welcome!!!
