|
After 63 parkrun events, David Sansom smashed his PB today (26 November 2011) by 30 seconds, when he finished in 21.06 (52nd out of 188 runners) over the 5km course. There were 14 BRATs competing today, and over the 2 year history, a total of 113 BRATs have run the event 603 times. The next closest club is Bournville Harriers (87 runners, 416 times). Peter Blackwell, another BRAT, heads the points table at present. The fastest ever BRAT is Jack Grey with 15.35, 5 seconds in front of Ed Banks with Mark Ince a further 32 seconds back - but all of them trailing the course record time of 14.50 (James Trollope, Birchfield), and the all time parkrun record holder Craig Mottram (14.00). Richard Gray heads the age-graded league with 86%. For those who would like to run this event please register at www.parkrun.org/cannon-hill/home to get your barcode - without this, your time will not be recorded. The start time is 0900 every Saturday morning, gathering at the Cannon Hill Park "Station", just near the tearooms and the back car par.
