BRAT at Oxford

On saturday 18th July Ed Banks and Dan (I like to race a lot) Robinson headed down to Oxford for the Iffley Festival of Miles.

Anyone unfamiliar with the significance of Iffley Road in the history of miling would do well to Google Sir Roger Bannister CBE (pictured).

The church tower over Sir Rog's shoulder is still visible frm the finish line to this day.

Ed and Dan were running in the British Milers Club (BMC) 5000m race (it wasn't just miles) and both ran very solid races.

Ed just missed a PB with a time of 15:12.19 - a sub 15 can't be far away - while Dan followed close behind with 15:54.64
