David Lloyd Triathlon Spin Sessions
The sessions are all about improving your skills and fitness to enable you tom complete a triathlon safely and efficiently. The different stages are designed to prepare you for theBRAT Birmingham Triathlon Festival 2012.

Spin bike set up, perceived effort and Heart Rate %, pedalling technique, starting to build strength, endurance work. |

27 Feb to 8 April |
Spin building on strength work, introducing more speed and cadence focussed sessions. |
| 3 Peak |
9 April to 13 May |
Road bikes: time trial work and pacing judgement (maintainable perceived effort and Heart rate), brick sessions (bike to run) |
| 4 Taper |
Race week! (14 May to 20 May) |
Road bikes: work on short efforts at race pace with longer recoveries, sessions should not be exhausting at this stage. |
